Frida Castelli

Illustrations come in all shapes, sizes, and themes. A lot of the ones I've seen over the years have been lackluster as far as feelings are concerned. They are well done for sure, but they don't give you a sense that the world around us is real. Most haven't presented the idea that we are sentient beings trying to mingle with other sentient beings as we try to navigate this life. And they have certainly not involved any sensuality. So imagine my surprise and utter joy when I found Frida Castelli's work. They are in the classic illustration style with true elements of sensuality, sexuality, and good old fashioned nudity. The nudity isn't gratuitous by any means. It is simply art imitating life. A good life. Frida's work is beautiful and I'm happy to pass it along to you here. You can also see more illustrations at her website www.fridacastelli.com.
